The mudguard of the S1000RR 2023 is much more than just a mudguard. It elegantly combines the function of three previous components into one.

Integrated air ducts constantly supply fresh air to the brake calipers while riding to reduce the risk of brake fade.

Tested under the toughest conditions, it helps to achieve success in the world's most diverse racing series.

He has already helped the Tecmas Stock Team to a commanding victory at the legendary 24 Hours of LeMans.

But the fender not only cuts a fine figure on the racetrack, but also on the street. In order for not only the new M models to benefit from the additional cooling, we have looked for a way to make the fender compatible with other models as well.

The ABE thus covers not only the new BMW S1000RR, but all current four-cylinder engines from BMW.

To benefit even more from the aerodynamic advances on the front wheel, the rear flap prepares the additional mounting of the wheel covers.

 

Through the long continuation of the lateral surfaces towards the rear, not only is the air resistance reduced while driving, but also the sensitive lower fork legs are reliably protected from stone chips for the first time.

 

To achieve a harmonious overall picture, the layers of fibers are inserted and aligned in the mold by experts.

The carbon part fits perfectly into the surrounding shapes of the bike. The more parts you install and combine, the more overwhelming the result will be.

For our carbon we only use prepreg fabric specially produced for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and space travel.

The material, which is processed by hand and cured in an autoclave in several stages, impresses not only with its unique appearance, but also with its unique technical properties.

At the same volume, it has a specific stiffness three times that of steel and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only a fraction of its weight.

In order to optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer in the world to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces.

In combination with our clear varnish, this ensures a unique and previously unattainable depth effect, which allows the high quality of the material to come into its own.

So that not only driving but also screwing is a pleasure, we only use the original mounting points for this part.
